Goodmorning! It has been a while that I have written a post. Well, lets see. We went on vacation and came back to very cold, snowy weather! We had 85 degree weather every day down in sunny Fort Meyers and it was just beautiful!
Brian & I have decided that we are no longer going to drive (yeah, we have said this before, but this time we are sticking to it). We took the new car and "broke it in". Good thing, because gas prices were outrageous!
We have had a busy two weeks since being back. Lindsey had stomach flu last Sunday - Tuesday and then Thursday I took her to the doctor and she now has strep throat. She is finally getting her strength and appetite back! After losing 4 lbs and a week of school (she only had two days last week), she is back in school today!!! She is my child that loves school and this was very bad for her to be at home instead of in the class room!
Alyssa started practice for softball last week and first practice, took a ball in the mouth, resulting in a fat lip. Thank goodness daddy reminded her to take out her mouth appliances before practice. I cannot think of what would have happened had she had them in.
She is doing very well in school, receiving all A's this last marking period. We rewarded her with a movie and dinner out and a promise to get ice cream once the ice cream shop in town opens. She completed a report on Japan and now is doing a report on Michigan. Hmmm, cold winters that last too long!
Brian & I are doing well and are looking forward to warm weather. He has tilled up the spot where our garden is going and we will be doing lots of yard work in the next few weeks!

Well I can certainly say that we had a fantastic time on vacation with you guys, as always. It's hard to get back to the snowy weather when Dad Mac warned us to stay in sunny Florida. Whoever said that parents weren't wiser was truly wrong. Hopefully my lil' LuciBelle is getting back to her spunky self. I hadn't heard about Gooses' fat lip, thank goodness daddy was on the ball with the schwarz. Aunt Rose can't wait to watch her lil' princesses play ball. Bri has a soccer game on Friday in Hamilton. Perhaps we can go to the Trestle Stop for dinner if you don't already have plans before the game?!? She had an assist Monday night in Delton-for being a lil' short sided she certainly doesn't miss a trick when it comes to those bigger girls. She doesn't back down a bit. Brittney and Bri are both going to prom on Saturday 4/28. Pictures down at the riverfront around 4p.m. I believe. Hope you can make it for those special photo moments. Love you all bunches. Aunt Rose
